2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).

When you visit the website, Vercel automatically processes technical access data that your browser transmits, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring website, and browser and operating system information. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). The log data is stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and is not combined with other data.

Data may be processed in the USA. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Vercel's Data Processing Addendum, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), forms part of our contract with Vercel.

3. Vercel Web Analytics

To understand how many people visit the website and which pages they view, we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service of our hosting provider. It does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device. Data is collected in pseudonymised form only: visitors are distinguished by a hash value generated from request data, which is discarded after 24 hours. We only see aggregated figures (e.g. page views, referring websites, country, device type, browser). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website).

4. Contact form and email

The contact form on this website does not send any data to us or to a third party. When you submit it, your email program opens with a pre-filled message containing the details you entered (name, email address, company, website, role, timeline and message). The data only reaches us when you send that email yourself. The same applies if you write to us directly by email, whether to info@july100.ai or s@july100.ai.

Our emails are hosted by Google (Google Workspace), which processes them on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be processed in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR).

We use the data you send us exclusively to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where your enquiry relates to a potential engagement, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply to us (e.g. for business correspondence under German commercial and tax law, § 257 HGB and § 147 AO, for up to six years).

Providing your data is voluntary. Without it, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. The Exit Readiness Score runs entirely in your browser; your answers are neither transmitted nor stored.

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to third-party font services (such as Google Fonts) is established when the pages are loaded.

6. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any information on your device.

7. Links to other websites

This website contains links to external websites, for example LinkedIn. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click such a link. From that point on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

8. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption (recognisable by “https://” in the address bar) to protect the transmission of data.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

To exercise these rights, simply contact us at s@july100.ai.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
